Back in 2003 I made contact with Gavin Hanly, webmaster of the great 2000AD Review website. We soon came up with the idea that I'd write a regular series of articles about the comic. I adopted the pseudonym "Sprout" simply because I already had a Sprout logo based on the original 2000 AD logo (created for a fake comic in The Brentford Mercury).

Sprout articles also appeared in a couple of other places: I'll be presenting them here in chronological order for the very first time (oooh!).
